The United States and the EU have engaged in unprecedented and decisive economic warfare against Vladimir Putin to coerce him into changing his behavior. Lessons have been learned from the first battle and it’s time to improve our playbook to devastating effect for the next one. Parliaments have played a substantial role in both legislative efforts and pressuring the executive branch into action against Putin. Through these interviews we would like to discuss the potential for inter parliamentary dialogue to hone economic warfare against Putin’s war in the Ukraine.
