A quick tutorial on concluding a student in Canvas after the student has dropped the course through registration. This is to resolve any issues where Canvas has not already removed the student from the class roll automatically. Canvas will automatically conclude student enrollments when the course is concluded at the end of each term.
*ONLY conclude students that have gone through the necessary steps to officially drop the course*
Concluding a student does not delete the student’s submissions and it preserves all their activity in your course. Faculty can easily restore the student from the “Prior Enrollments” page in their Canvas course.
