Presented by Sara Dant, PhD, Professor of History, Weber State University
Dr. Sara DantIn the summer of 2019, Dr. Sara Dant had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a two-week float trip on the Hulahula River through the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. From this top-of-the-world perspective, she experienced what America once looked like, and as thousands of Porcupine Caribou floated around her tent, she began to understand how to write about climate change, the West, and a sustainable future.
