Embodied carbon is important to assess in order to understand the global
warming potential result from a whole-building life cycle analysis. This
presentation identifies embodied carbon analysis and a methodology to use
parametric analysis with whole building energy modeling to explore and
understand the energy and carbon impacts of design options.
